Katy Perry fans may have liked the words "I kissed a girl and I liked it", but changing the lyrics of an iconic Beatles song? Not a very good idea.
Katy Perry has raised the ire of Beatles fans around the world when the "Roar" star sang her rendition of the popular Beatles song "Yesterday" in the CBS showcase "The Beatles: The Night that Changed America last Sunday". Fans reacted on Twitter when Katy Perry changed the words of the song from "man" to "girl."
Yup, you read it right: from "man" to "girl". Changing the words of a Beatles song is a sin to the eyes of Beatles fans, and so they began tweeting their frustration and opinions on Twitter.
This may not be a big deal for Katy, but she may think twice about doing another Beatles song again when she reads some of the tweets below.
