Deceased actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's will revealed: TMZ reported that Philip Seymour Hoffman's will states that he left his entire estate and possessions to his estranged partner, costume designer Marianne "Mimi" O'Donnell and has left strict instructions to his son, Cooper.

Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was found dead due to apparent heroin overdose in his New York City apartment on Feb 2, has set up a trust fund for Cooper, and said that he doesn't want his son to be raised in Hollywood. Instead he would like to be raised in one of the three cities he requested: New York, Chicago or San Francisco.

"If my guardian cannot reside in any of such cities, then it is my strong desire, and not direction, that my son, Cooper Hoffman, visit these cities at least twice per year throughout such guardianship," Hoffman wrote in the 13-page document. "The purpose of this request is so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts and architecture that such cities offer."

When the will, which was signed in October 2004 and submitted into Manhattan's Surrogate Court on Wednesday, was written, Cooper who is now 10-years old was only 1 at the time and was Hoffman's only child. The "Capote" actor went on to have two daughters, 7-year old Tellulah and 5-year old Willa.

Hoffman named O'Donnell as Cooper's guardian and the trustee of his funds. Cooper is set to get half the money in the trust when he turns 25 and the rest at 30, according to Hoffman's will.

Hoffman noted that if O'Donnell didn't survive him, Cooper would get his personal property, the actor also appointed her as the executrix of his will.

According to People magazine, New York probate attorney Ann-Margaret Carrozza explains, "That is not a very typical clause," and adds it's not legally enforceable. "That's why he said, 'It is my strong desire, and not direction.' It's a really touching statement. It's also striking he didn't include Los Angeles in his list of cities."

The value of Hoffman's estate is unknown, according to the mag, but it is estimated to be $500,000 or more. Additionally, should anything happen to O'Donnell, her sister Suzanne was appointed back-up guardian, and most of the estate would go to Hoffman's producing partner Emily Ziff.
