Looks like the console wars is far from over as Sony and Microsoft both have the same idea: an exciting new virtual reality experience. Sony and Microsoft are about to make it happen very soon on both Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The question is, will this idea help Xbox make a comeback or will PlayStation 4 triumph in sales, again?

Sony has been working on brining something new to the table, a Playstation 4 virtual reality headset which will be the solution to Microsoft's Xbox One illumiroom and an insider says it will be "amazing!"

A number of rumours have suggested that the company is developing its own virtual reality headset for Playstation 4 that will integrate tightly with the console and surround the wearer with game content. Ahsan Rasheed or "Thuway", a well-known industry insider says he as an idea of several different prototypes of the device. While he says he cannot share any specific information, he did say that it's an amazing piece of hardware.

Raheed wrote on his twitter account saying that.

No doubt these tweets he made are gonna make PlayStation fans go on a frenzy with excitement.

Meanwhile on the Microsoft side of the fence, they have been working on something called "illumiroom" which could be an awesome experience for Xbox users and if it launches, it'll definitely make this generation's Kinect. Provided Microsoft can make it affordable.

Will this kind of thing bother Sony? Well, not at all. At the moment Sony's PS4 isn't having trouble at all. In fact, the company just announced that PS4 sales to date have surpassed 5.3 million units. The Japanese gaming giant continues to sell consoles about as quickly as it can build them, but as is always the case; things are bound to slow down eventually as new consoles age and the novelty dwindle.

There's no word yet on when will the VR headset be shown to the public. Will this PlayStation 4 virtual reality headset change the experience of gaming forever? We'll just have to wait for the Sony's upcoming updates.
