Both the firms said that clones were building a business around the original Flappy Bird and this would be classified as scam.
Google, in particular, does not tolerate spam.
Since this scenario, more and more used electronic retailers are listing second hand iPhones with Flappy Bird Games installed. You would not believe it but these second hand phones with Flappy Bird are going for thousands of dollars.
After the second hand iPhones with Flappy Bird Games became a trend on eBay, the site decided to end the listings since it was violating the website's policy.
Now another website Upgrade Swap is advertizing to pay smartphone users more than their money's worth if they possessed preinstalled Flappy Bird Games on their phones.
