It looks like the boy wizard has a new look this year. Daniel Radcliffe sports a new long hair style during the WhatsOnStage Awards in London last Sunday. Daniel Radcliffe was barely recognizable as he took home the prize for Best Actor in the play "The Cripple of Inishman," the former "Harry Potter" star explained that the new look was mandatory for his role as "Igor" in his new film, "Frankenstein" co-starring with "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star and fellow nominee, James McAvoy and directed by Paul McGuigan.

Daniel Radcliffe opened up to the Telegraph about managing his long flowing locks. "I don't mind how it looks but I mind dealing with it," he said. "The amount of work it takes, having to dry it, doing anything to it is a f*cking nightmare. I do have a whole new sympathy for women. I wouldn't be growing my hair this long in my own time."

And while donning the new hairdo may have been a pain for him, Radcliffe got a kick out of it and told the Telegraph, "I actually don't mind it because there's something really fun about looking totally different and seeing yourself that way."

He also told the Telegraph about his win in the WhatsOnStage Awards, beating fellow nominees James McAvoy, Lenny Henry, and Ben Winshaw,

"It's very lovely to win. We were blessed with amazing audience the whole way through the run."

"It's also kind of crazy to me to be nominated against James and Ben. Watching them was very formative in my experience of theatre - Ben in Hamlet, James in loads of things but particularly Privates on Parade. They were just amazing so to be in a category alongside them is just surreal."

But this isn't the first time Daniel has shown off his long 'do. Back in December he joked about the origin of his hair extensions during a visit to "The Graham Norton Show." "It's from I assume a dead person or a person who donated their hair," he teased.
