George Clooney News Update: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were rumoured to ask the eligible bachelor to do the honours at their wedding ceremony.

An insider has told the Daily Star, "It was Brad's idea to have George involved but he was shocked when he actually agreed. Now he's started calling him the Reverend George Clooney. He is taking it all very seriously and has already had discussions about what kind of service they'd like."

Entertainmentwise stated that according to the report, organised George has already been online to obtain a license allowing him to officiate weddings, in time for a reported ceremony this summer. "George has made it clear he's dead against marriage for himself but he can't wait to help his friends tie the knot", the source claims. "Neither Brad nor Ange are particularly religious but are very spiritual and want the service at their home to feel traditional".

Clooney have experienced tying the knot once to Talia Balsam only for the couple to divorce in 1993. If he does end up in marrying Pitt and Jolie, he will need a gorgeous woman to keep him company on the big day, with his latest rumoured girlfriend to be British barrister Amal Alamuddin.

As quoted from Entertainmentwise, "George reportedly took Amal as his date to a screening of The Monuments Men at the White House last week. According to The Mirror, Clooney was accompanied by his parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, and Amal whom he has been linked to for several months.

"They looked very much together. George was very affectionate around Amal and they looked like a couple," a source told the publication. "He has a penchant for British girls after having dated one before." Clooney and Alamuddin were first spotted together in October after a night out in London, three months after the actor and director split from longtime girlfriend Stacey Kiebler."
