It is a tradition in the academy awards to show an Oscars "In memoriam" video and as fans watched the tribute video they noticed that "Glee" star Cory Monteith was left out of video and that exclusion caused an uproar on twitter.
While Cory Monteith was primarily a TV actor, he starred on movies such as "The Final Destination 3" and "Monte Carlo". Many "Glee" fans or "Gleeks" on Twitter were upset that Cory Monteith was not included in the Academy Awards segment dedicated to those who passed away over the past year.
Disappointed in the oscar for not including Cory monteith in the memoir part..messed up just saying @TheEllenShow

Remembering Cory Monteith, because Oscar's Academy didn't #CoryMonteith #RememberingCory — Dina (@Dina_Moharram) March 3, 2014
Upset Cory Monteith wasn't in the Oscar memoriam. He might not have been a huge presence in film but was still a film actor in his own right

Actually a bit pissed because Cory Monteith's name was misspelled in the Grammy's memoriam and now he gets snubbed in the Oscar's one — Squidney (@sydneyfairman) March 3, 2014
No Cory Monteith in the tribute section. Oscar you just pissed off a lot of Tweens and gay men.

Even though Cory Monteith was never an Oscar nominee, he still should have been remembered tonight #RIP — Nicole Magro ♡ (@nicolemagroo) March 3, 2014
Oscar In Memoriam segment acting like Cory Monteith wasn't in Monte Carlo and Final Destination 3

Cory Monteith was in movies, too! Just not well known or nominated movies. — Sabrina Siddiqui (@SabrinaSiddiqui) March 3, 2014
Bit of a shame Cory Monteith was skipped from the montage, I'm sure he had as big of an impact as a lot of those mentioned

the fact that they didn't add cory monteith is irritating me his death was huge for this generation — allons-aly! (@tennantposey) March 3, 2014
You've got to be kidding me, how rude not showing Cory Monteith one amazing actor right along with the other actors on that screen. #Oscar

What do you think? Was the snub intentional or was it simply an accident?
