Orlando Bloom Latest News: Exes MIranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom had a red carpet run-in at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

The Australian model, Miranda Kerr, was chatting it up with an ABC "On the Red Carpet" reporter when her ex-husband spotted her as he walked into the party.

Bloom, 37, said to the gorgeous supermodel as he gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Hi, you look amazing. Are you well?" Kerr, 30, wearing a metallic silver gown, flashed her smile at her ex-husband as she responded, "Yeah, yeah."

US Weekly reported that Bloom then walked away to pose for photos while his ex-wife continued the segment like a true professional. "I think Cate Blanchett always looks so beautiful," she said of her fellow Aussie, who took home the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Blue Jasmine.

While this instant might be awkward for many separated couples, these two appeared to achieve seeing each other again with great comfort.

Yahoo Celebrity reported that the ex-couple's amiable encounter isn't really shocking. The handsome actor revealed to Katie Couric on her talk show in November that even though he and Miranda are no longer together, that doesn't mean there are hard feelings between them.

Bloom said, "There's no question that, for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support each other and love one another as parents to Flynn. Life sometimes doesn't work out exactly as we plan or hope for, but fortunately we're both adults. I'm 36, she's 30, we're professionals, we love and care about each other."

Quoted from a report in the US Weekly back in October, Kerr and Bloom confirmed their split after three years of marriage. The parents, who share son Flynn, 2, announced through their reps that they had "amicably separated" months before and "love, support, and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

"I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I'm all misty about it because I'm playing Romeo," Bloom to Elle magazine in its January issue. "But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart-connection." After their split, the two have been photographed playing with their son and getting along great.

According to International Business Times, the couple will finalize their divorce soon. The two decided to share the responsibilities to their son Flynn. However, the pair said that they still care for each other as they are family after all.

The two were apparently dating other people. Miranda was previously connected to Bobby Fox, James Packer and Leonardo DiCaprio. Orlando Bloom, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Condola Rashad and Nora Arnezeder.
