Watch out for Miley Cyrus' new fashion style as she ditches her booty shorts for Marc Jacob's couture gowns. The infamous twerker is known for wearing onesies and super short shorts so it is a breath of fresh air to see her all wrapped up in a gown.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer was chosen by American fashion designer Marc Jacobs to be the new face of his Spring 2014 campaign. The 50-year old designer told E! News, "We all just love her and her entire being, her talent, her intelligence, everything." He added, "There's nothing I don't like about her. She is just genuine and very natural."

It was way back in January when Marc Jacob's announced his new model, but it was only this month that the photos will be released. The collaboration between the two isn't surprising since the 21-year old singer has always been a fan of the designer. She was seen wearing a Marc Jacob's gown during the Met Gala in New York back in 2013.

Miley Cyrus' new fashion style consists of sequin-studded skirts, glam gowns, and structured tops that kind of give that 'goth' vibe. So what is the theme of the Marc Jacobs' fashion pictorial? The designer revealed, "We wanted this beach with the girls kind of sulky and broody, and we thought it would be cool if it was Miley with what could be two friends, feeling distant and quite dark."

The songstress can be seen staring into space and pouting her lips in most of her pictures. The new ad campaign of Marc Jacobs that was shot by photographer David Sims can be best described as Tim Burton goes high fashion because of its dark and gloomy approach.

The pictorial didn't go exactly as planned because the in-house photographer, Juergen Teller, refused to shoot Miley Cyrus. Jacob's revealed to Women's Wear Daily, "I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist, but he just didn't want to shoot her." A source told E! News, "Juergen does not want to comment."

Do you think it was Miley Cyrus' wild fashion style that forced Juergen to ditch the Marc Jacobs campaign?
