Oculus VR, the company behind the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, has confirmed that it will be attending E3 2014, running from June 10-12, 2014 in Los Angeles.
Oculus VR revealed the news as it updated its 2014 events schedule.
E3 is one of the staples in the videogame calendar, where Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony as well as other videogame developers reveal huge announcements regarding their product . It won't be the first year that Oculus VR has attended the event, but hopefully it will bring news of a consumer version of the Rift during the expo, given that the company is aiming for a 2014 release.
Oculus VR has also lined up several pre-E3 events to attend. Later in the month is the Games Developers Conference (GDC), running from March 19-21, 2014, Oculus VR will have its own presentation on March 19, 2014 that could reveal a new version of the Rift development kit.
The Oculus Rift will be shown at the GPU Technology Conference on March 24-27, 2014 in San Jose and the consumer-focussed PAX East in Boston on April 11-13, 2014. Then on May 20-22, 2014, it will be shown at the ITEC conference in Cologne, Germany.
