Game of Thrones released a new trailer for Season 4 of the popular Emmy-winning fantasy television series which chronicles an epic struggle for power in a violent fantasy kingdom. The latest trailer premiered last night ahead of True Detective's finale on HBO in the US. Revenge and justice seem to be the major themes of the new season, which will premiere on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m on HBO.

The trailer starts with Sansa Stark talking to her husband Tyrion about her family's murder. Sansa says, "Do you know what they did to my mother and my brother? I lie awake all night thinking about how they died."

The trailer also shows glimpses of a new character Oberyn Martell on a walk with Cersei. Cersei asks Obersyn, "What good is power if you cannot protect the ones you love?" Obersyn ominously replies, "We can avenge them."

Season 4 will bring back the all star cast of Game of Thrones, including Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.
