Respawn Entertainment's first person and mech shooter game, Titanfall gets its own live action series. With the release of the game on XBox One this month and not to mention the hype that Titanfall receives during its pre-release schedule, Respawn has certainly shaken things up with this live action adaptation of the game.
In fact they already released a teaser of the game titled, Free the Frontier.
Usually, you have to wait months, years or decades before someone decides to pour blood, sweat and tears to make a filmed adaptation of a video game. Not with Titanfall. Work's already underway on an effect-heavy series set in the world of Respawn's mech-happy future.
The Free the Frontier teaser comes as a result of the collaboration between Respawn and Playfight, a productions house that worked on visuals for Video Game High School.
When exactly the series will be released is anybody's guess, but It will cool to know how they will pull of the parkour running soldiers and the gigantic robot mechs that the will be piloting once the series has been made.
Dusty Welch of Respawn is quoted that, "We wanted to partner with Playfight, who has a history of delivering movies that meld gameplay, live action and stellar CG into truly entertaining media, for Titanfall. What this collaboration brings is yet to unfold..."
