Great news for Flappy Bird fans as Dong Nguyen is greatly considering that a Flappy Bird return to app store is possible!
It's been just over a month since the creator of the surprisingly popular and exceedingly frustrating mobile game Flappy Bird pulled his creation from the App Store and Google Play.
He's kept a fairly low profile since, but Dong Nguyen broke his silence in a big way in a just-published feature interview with Rolling Stone.
According to the interview with Rolling Stone, Dong Nguyen reveals that he's considering bringing Flappy Bird back to the app store despite the overwhelming criticism and threats that the game brought him.
If he does bring the game back, Dong Nguyen says it'll come with a warning, telling players to take a break.
Just last month, Dong Nguyen confirmed that Flappy Bird's addictive qualities were a big part of why he took the game down not because of the alleged accusations of him earning $50,000 a day from ripped off assets from the game "Piou-piou" and Super Mario Bros (source)
Aside the tease of a Flappy Bird return, Dong Nguyen also talked about the inspiration for Flappy Bird and how the culture of his home city of Hanoi influenced the game's simple mechanics.
