Jessica Simpson Wedding News: After exploration of possible wedding venues in Capri, Italy, Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson have decided to tie the knot closer to home in Los Angeles.
A source tells Us Weekly that the couple, parents to daughter Maxwell, 22 months, and son Ace, 8 months, have "decided to keep it simple" and that notes that they felt it would be "too much" to ask friends to fly to Europe to see them say "I do."
The 33-year-old fashion mogul and Johnson have been seeing each other since May 2010. The two got engaged in November of the same year.
Capri, Italy is a memorable location for the couple since Simpson and her groom first travelled to the beautiful Italian spot together back in July 2010, not long after they started dating. Us Weekly said that they returned to the Italian island last summer to look at potential wedding venues, such as Augustus Gardens and La Fontelina. A source revealed to the same site that the couple decided a wedding in California will be "easier to plan" and "less expensive."
Simpson became a spokeswoman for the weight loss system after giving birth to her youngest child, Ace.
As cited from ABC News, after welcoming her son Ace last summer, Simpson said she was shocked by numbers she saw in the scales.
As a result, she started working with Weight Watchers again as soon as she could and squeezed in trips to the gym and walks with her fiancé Eric Johnson.
"I'm taking it week by week so I don't get frustrated with myself," she told ABC News last fall. "If I had a long-term goal, and that's all I thought about it, I think it would set me back more. So I really, every week, try to make sure I stick with my points and get four workouts in. That's my goal this week, and I hope that I can lose from that. If not, I'm going to keep on going and try it the next week. So far, so good."

The 33-year-old reality star shared three b&w Instagram family snaps of herself bonding with the cherubic baby boy.
'American Idol captivated him,' the blonde funnywoman captioned one shot of the tyke gazing at the television set.
Simpson has said that motherhood has provided her with peace and confidence.
