Scarlett Johansson News Update: The radiant actress shows off her baby bumps for the premier of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, March 13. This is her first public appearance since the news broke that she is pregnant with her fiancé Romain Dauriac earlier this month.
The actress stepped out on the red carpet in an Armani Prive lace blouse and black lace pencil cut skirt with ruffle hem. She completed her outfit with a Louboutin pumps.
Johansson communicated to the Daily Mail in December last year, "I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else. At some point it's something I look forward to."
HNGN reported that the actress is yet to confirm the news that they are expecting a baby but her costars and producers have all revealed that Johansson is in fact pregnant.
The director, Jon Favreau, also her costar in the upcoming movie "Chef", told E! News, at the South by Southwest festival, that the actress is going to be a great mother. "She's one of my favorite people because she's smart, she's talented and she's really down to earth and a hard worker. I like a hard worker. She really did a lot of work to train to play Black Widow [in the 'Avengers' movies]. She's always pleasant to be around and she's got really good instincts about scenes, she helped me on 'Chef,' she helped me a lot with the script and her character. She's good people," Favreau added.
According to Huffpost Celebrity, the actress has yet to make a formal announcement about her standing in the upcoming shooting of "Avengers: Age of Ultron", but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige responded to the reports when asked about the filming schedule.
He told Collider, "Well my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her, and my second reaction was we've gotta move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise. But we didn't change the script at all, which is sort of the most important things for us in terms of the storyline. I think the goal is for us to sit here talking about the fact that you would never know that Black Widow was pregnant during the filming of the movie when you see the final version of 'Avengers 2.'"
Avengers 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
The cast of the movie includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner,Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.
