Malaysian Airlines review of the events that transpired since last week has yet to confirm what has happened to the missing flight MH370.

There are many theories as to what may have happened to Flight MH370 and most intelligence sources are focusing on sabotage and the possibility of a hijacking.

The pilot's connection to the former Malaysian PM and opposition party suggests that the plane may have been rerouted for political demands. The ex-deputy PM in question was arrested for charges of sodomy the night before the plane went 'awol,' according to reports.

There is also an investigation surrounding the pilot and distinguishing behavioral irregularities on the night of the fateful flight. What is unusual about this pilot is that he maintained a flight simulator in his home, which analysts say is strange for a senior pilot with extensive flying time to have done.

There were other reports that UK satellite agencies were able to track the plane 5hours after it was reported missing.

Relatives of a U.S. passenger say it is difficult for them to watch the news on TV with no major developments, as the missing plane goes into a second week of search. But they say that they have to keep their hope alive.

Although U.S. Intelligence officers are privy to flight data from radar and satellites, they have very little info about the Malaysian inquiry, the pilots and the passengers. After the 9/11 attacks, cockpits have been secured so that external intervention is hardly possible.

When the MH370 flight disappeared, F.B.I. agents got hold of names of pilots and passengers. This revealed two Iranian men were traveling on stolen passports; however they were ruled out as having connections to terrorists.

According to a senior U.S. official, "It doesn't mean anything; all it is a theory,"

He added on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the inquiry, "Find the plane, find the black boxes and then we can figure out what happened. It has to be based on something, and until they have something more to go on it's all just theories," The New York Times reported.
