Heroes Of The Storm Release Date: Who would have imagined that Nova, Dominion Ghost from Starcraft, will duel The Lich King from Warcraft, Arthas, Diablo’s Tyrael doing air combat against Kerigan, Queen of Blades, and the most intriguing perhaps, Jim Raynor face to face with Diablo, will become a reality?
Yes, you’ve heard that right, everything mentioned above is possible on Blizzard’s new online game, Heroes of the Storm! The newest cinematic trailer (see below) will give gamers plenty of reasons to check this game out.
The gameplay is very much the same with Defense of the Ancients, more popularly known as D.O.T.A., wherein throughout the game, waves of computer-controlled creatures, or as gamers call them creeps, will try to advance automatically across the map along different pathways. Player heroes fight together with these creatures to progress, by destroying enemy towers, and eventually push into the enemy base. Other points of interest are guarded by neutral hostile creatures; capturing and controlling these points grants bonuses to your team. As your player kills computer-controlled creatures and other players, your hero will accumulate experience and levels to strengthen his or her special abilities. You'll also earn gold which you can use to purchase upgrades and items to customize and improve your hero over the course of a match. See gameplay sneak peek below.
