Dragon Age Inquisition Release Date: BioWare needs to step it up a notch as majority of fans expressed their displeasure towards Dragon Age 2, sequel of the well-regarded Dragon Age: Origins. Fans were not happy about how limited the game was, as most of the game's playing time is spent in confined walls of a city.

The wait is over Dragon Age fans, as BioWare confirmed that in this new saga, players will be free to roam around and explore the expansive world to your heart's content.

The story will take place in the land of Thedas, where a cataclysmic event has plunged the city into chaos. Dragons cast their shadow in the sky, bringing fear to hearts of every citizen of a once-peaceful kingdom. The Mages and Templars are having an all-out war to fight to support their advocacies. Nations fights against each other.

As the leader of the Inquisition, a once-disbanded organization, you'll have to stop the world from falling into complete chaos. Not only are the Mages and Templars at each other's throats, but Orlais is engulfed in civil war. And the never-ending demons are pouring in from the Fade. Similar to the first two installments, the player will have to find allies to assist him in his conquest, build up your forces, capture and maintain keeps, and embark on the most epic adventure ever offered in the Dragon Age series.

Some of the games exclusive features are the use of remarkable FrostbiteTM 3 engine that would make the environment look as real as it gets, including ice-capped mountains, twisted marshes, and scorching deserts.

According to examiner.com, the pace of Dragon Age: Inquisition will be slower than Dragon Age 2 as some fans did not like the changes. Hence, BioWare has decided to take elements that gamers had enjoyed from the first two games and adapt it to the upcoming sequel.

Dragon Age: Inquisition arrives in the Fall of 2014 for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
