Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Xbox 360 Requires Actual Hard Drive! Incompatibility With 'Arcade' 4GB X360 Models Confirmed!

It seems that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes can't catch a break as not only are people bashing it for its short gameplay "runtime" it is now being bashed by Xbox 360 users as it has been confirmed that "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" Xbox 360 version won't run on Xbox 360 models with no harddrives!

Reddit user "qmznkrv" confirmed that "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" Xbox 360 version won't run on the 4GB or "Arcade" versions of the Xbox 360:

"I'm posting this as a sort of PSA to any /r/games visitors intending to play the last-generation version of MGSV:GZ on Xbox 360, especially as a rental, since the game disc does not bear the warning printed in the lower-left corner of the case insert, seen here."

"The warning is also present in the requirements list of the downloadable version on Xbox Live, and on the Konami support page here, where it specifically notes the incompatibility with USB flash drives."

"However, the Xbox 360 Dashboard will allow you to pointlessly install the MSGV:GZ disc data to a USB flash device. This put my copy of the game into a rather silly infinite loop. When running the game, a dialogue box will pop up asking if you wish to install the game to the hard drive. Answer "Yes", and it will tell you to get a hard drive. Answer "No", and it will tell you it is exiting the game."

"No matter which option you choose, the game will return to the first installation prompt. It appears to be the same prompt you would find on the PS3, making it rather out of place on the Xbox 360, where installs are handled from the dashboard."

So there you go! If you have an Xbox 360 without a hard drive or a 4GB version then you're out of luck.
