Idina Menzel did know how to let it go.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, the "Frozen" star finally broke her silence and opened up about John Travolta's infamous flubbing of her name at this year's Oscar awards.

It can be remembered that the "Grease" actor was tasked to introduce the Broadway star before her performance and in the process, mispronounced her name, calling her "Adele Dazeem."

Social media had a field trip that day, mocking the actor endlessly, forcing him to apologize to the "Let It Go" singer the next day.

Pop Culture site Slate even marked that historical moment by developing an Adele Dazeem Name Generator, which lets you "Travoltify" your name.

Idina Menzel, 42, admitted that John Travolta's Oscar flub did break her focus at the beginning of her performance.

"It threw me for a minute," she admitted with a laugh to Billboard. "But then I just got back on track and reminded myself of where I was, and what a beautiful moment it was."

And it was indeed, as Menzel gave a five-star performance of Frozen's hit single, "Let It Go," which eventually led to her winning the Best Original Song at this year's Academy Awards, beating U2's "Ordinary Love" from "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" and Pharrell Williams' "Happy" from "Despicable Me 2."

Idina then took everything in stride, and accepted Travolta's apology wholeheartedly

"He was really gracious and sent this gorgeous email, and we're buddies and it's all cool," Idina Menzel revealed. The 60-year-old actor also sent her flowers.

She added: ''Please. I mean, I've only benefited from it!''

"Adele Dazeem", who is on the cover of this week's Billboard magazine, was also busy promoting her new Broadway play "If/Then."

John Travolta, star of action films such as "Swordfish" and "Face/Off" gave a funny take on the Oscar flub incident, saying in a statement: "I've been beating myself up all day. Then I thought ... what would Idina Menzel say? She'd say, 'Let it go, let it go!'"
