Kim Kardashian was a guest on the Tuesday, March 25 episode of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and she had a lot to say about the much debated April cover of Vogue, which she shares with fiance Kanye West. Their daughter North West is also featured in the photo shoot that accompanies the cover article. Apparently, North may have been a little nervous about shooting for the famous magazine! The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star divulged that her and Kanye's daughter, 9 months old, peed on her daddy during the photo in which the adorable family sits on a couch. "North peed on Kanye in that shot," Kardashain says of the photo. "He was trying to tell me. I had to get up and clean him off."
Other than the urination issue, Kardashian also spoke about the events leading up to the momentous magazine cover shoot. "So, it was this top-secret mission trying to keep out all of my sisters and everyone," Kardashian told Seth Meyers. Meyers expressed surprise that her siblings Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian did not find out that she, West and North West were posing for photos with world famous portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz. "They were a little suspicious, but I just said Kanye was shooting something at my mom's house and it was really private, and just kind of blamed it on him."
The E! reality star also stated that she had no idea that their photoshoot would land them the cover of Vogue. It's been a dream of Kanye's to be on the cover so it's a great honor for them both. "I knew it was happening of course, but I didn't know it would be the cover. I'm just so honored," Kardashian said during the interview.
The Kimye cover of Vogue has caused a bit of a flurry on the internet, including some celebrity haters whom have included Sarah Michelle Gellar and Naomi Campbell. However Kardashian ignores the haters and states that the cover is an important moment not just for the West-Kardashian family, but also for the history of Vogue magazine's cover. "Kanye's the first rapper, I'm the first reality star, we're the first interracial couple [on the cover]," she said.
