Selena Gomez reportedly had a home intruder last Sunday. A source told TMZ, "Selena and a friend arrived home last night and heard a strange noise. We're told Selena called for her security to check it out."
The insider added, "Before security could investigate, a guy rang the front doorbell, asking if the pop star was home. The friend answered the door and said she wasn't ... and the guy went on his way."
That was really creepy, right? The law enforcement source said, "The deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills station arrived a short time later and found the 20-year-old man had broken into her guest house. He was eventually arrested and charged for burglary and trespassing."
The Selena Gomez home intruder incident was also confirmed by New York Daily News. Sgt. Fray Lupian told the publication that Gomez arrived at her Calabasas home at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday when she heard a noise and called security.
Lupian narrated, "The suspect knocked on the door and a friend answered but slammed it closed when he asked for Gomez. Security found the suspect in the guesthouse and held him for deputies."
So who is this crazy guy that tried to break into the 'Come and Get It' singer's Calabasan mansion? The LA County Sheriff's Department revealed the name of Selena Gomez's home intruder and his name is Cruz Che. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail. It is still unsure if Che will get an attorney to plead his case.
I'm sure fans of the 21-year old singer are worried about this latest news, but thankfully Gomez was not alone when that happened. I guess that's what the price you have to pay when you decide to purchase a whopping $3 million on a home.
An insider revealed to TMZ that the Calabasas mansion has 5 bedrooms and has a size of 7,200 square feet! The hitmaker's new home is also just a few minutes away from the Kardashians located at Hidden Hills. Maybe we will see more lunch dates between Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner.
