Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel have made a sex tape together. "Sex Tape" movie that is! And the trailer has been released. Teaming up again after the success of the hilarious "Bad Teacher," Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel are together again in the Jake Kasdan directed comedy. To spice up their love life, a married couple makes a sex tape and forgets to erase it. The video has been uploaded to the cloud and accidentally sent to all of their friends, including Robbie, family including mom, and Diaz's boss to whom they have gifted iPads which were all synced. This prompts a search to erase the movie from all the devices. The comedy follows the same X-rated humor as the very funny "Bad Teacher."
"Erase that video," a sleepy Diaz says after the tape is made. "I won't forget," an equally drowsy Segel says, but of course he does. One casual evening, Segel gets a text message from a phone number he doesn't recognize that says, "Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing." Once the couple realizes that everyone that they gave gifts to will be able to see the video, they understandably, completely freak out.
"You know the cloud?" a sheepish Segel asks when Diaz finds out that her mom will have access to their sex tape. "It went up, it went up the cloud," Segel screams in equal hysterics. "You can't get it down from the cloud??" Diaz shrieks back. Segel's hilarious answer is, "Nobody understands the cloud, it's a f--king mystery."
Friend Robbie hilariously comments, "Who has sex for three hours? That's the length of the movie 'Lincoln.'"
Diaz has a lot of movies coming out this year. Last year, she famously had sex with a car (The Counselor, starring Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and Michael Fassbender). This year, it seems that she will do it with Jason Segel. Before "Sex Tape" hits theaters in July, her other movie "The Other Woman," also starring Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, will hit theaters first on April 25. In what appears to be a kind of modern take on the First Wives Club, "The Other Woman" is about a woman who discovers her boyfriend is actually married. When she accidentally meets the wife he's been cheating on, she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes a best friend. When yet another affair is discovered, all three women team up to plot revenge on the cheating, lying, three-timing guy. Additionally, Diaz will play Miss Hannigan opposite a group of singing orphans. 2014 is the Year of Cameron Diaz.
Yes, there's good chance Jason Segel will show a lot of himself once again (as in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" - which perhaps should be called "Forgetting Jason Segel"):
