50 Cent is joining Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, The Heat) in a new movie directed by Paul Feig called "Spy" according to the Hollywood Reporter. "Spy," previously called "Susan Cooper," is about a CIA analyst, played by McCarthy, who goes into the field for the first time. The movie also stars Jude Law, Jason Statham and Nia Long. Law plays a suave superspy and Statham's character is an overconfident yet clumsy spy. Also in the cast are Rose Byrne, British comedienne Miranda Hart, and Byrne's boyfriend, Bobby Cannavale. No word on what Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's role will be, but according to THR, he will play himself. Production for "Spy" is set to begin later this month in Budapest, Hungary. Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are producing the CIA movie along with Feig and Jessie Henderson.

This isn't 50's first big acting gig. Last year, he starred alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Escape Plan" and recently wrapped a crime film called "The Prince" starring Bruce Willis and John Cusack. The super busy rapper is also releasing a new album "Animal Ambition" on June 3, as well as being executive producer on a new show called "Power" on Starz. The first official trailer for drama was recently released and can be seen below!

"Power" is a crime drama about drug dealer and club owner, James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), who tries to change his ways and learn to live legitimately through his club. The Starz show also stars Naturi Naughton (Mad Men), Joseph Sikora (True Detective, Boardwalk Empire) and Lela Loren (Gang Related). The show will premiere on Starz in summer 2014.
