It seems death can't silence the King of Pop's genius as the world will be hearing new music from Michael Jackson 5 years after his death.

The album titled "Xscape" will be available this May 13 and will feature eight previously unreleased tracks.

The announcement about the 2015 album came as a pleasant surprise in the form of a tweet in the late Jackson's official Twitter account:

Michael Jackson's official website provided a full description of the new album coming this 2014:

"After mining by the Estate of Jackson's archives, [Epic Records CEO L.A.] Reid was granted unlimited access to the treasures spanning four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals. Reid then teamed up top producers to "contemporize" the songs while retaining Jackson's essence and integrity, creating the best music you've never heard.

The Guardian reported that a number of journalists was invited by Epic Records to a listening party without having any details as to who they have to listen to. It only included an address, the time and the words, "The Best You've Never Heard."

Imagine their surprise to find out that a new Michael Jackson album for 2014 is already ready and that they were the first batch to hear the new songs which they compared to Off-The Wall era Jacko style, and shows "Black and White" pop star's return to form. Song titles for Michael Jackson album for 2014 were not revealed.

Timbaland, known rapper, producer and songwriter for Aaliyah, Missy Elliott and Justin Timberlake, handled the production of Michael Jackson's album releasing this 2014, working with Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, J-Roc, and John McClain. Epic records will release the new album in an agreement with Jackson's estate.

This was not the first posthumous release as the first batch of unreleased recordings was 2009's "This Is It", which featured 6 new tracks, but "Xscape" is the most comprehensive collection so far.

Michael Jackson's album "Xscape" went on pre-sale last April 1.
