Lea Michele, the "Louder" singer and "Glee" actress, will get paid $20,000 for wearing Lacoste clothes at the Coachella festival, which kicks off in California this Friday according to the New York Daily News. She will also attend Lacoste's pool party at the festival. Michele isn't exactly in need of the money, as she is rumored to be worth $5.5 million with a salary per episode around $75000. Actress Vanessa Hudgens is being paid $15,000 by McDonald's to hit the festival while she rocks out to headliners OutKast, Muse, and Arcade Fire. She will also be attending a pool party hosted by the fast food chain.
Coachella runs this coming weekend, April 11-13, and next weekend, April 18-20 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. Tickets to the three music festival costs hundreds of dollars online and is currently sold out. The music festival has long attracted celebrities, including Katy Perry, Kristen Stewart, Alexander Skarsgaard, Jessica Alba, Rihanna, Diane Kruger, and many many more. This year, Coachella will be headlined by a reunited Outkast, Muse and Arcade Fire; Calvin Harris, Queens of the Stone Age, Pharrell Williams and Ellie Goulding are also playing. For those who did not get tickets or are not getting paid to attending, the festival will be aired live on Youtube and AXS TV. AXS TV will broadcast the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, after Goldenvoice streams the opening weekend on YouTube. Twenty hours of live performances will be put on the network on the second weekend.
Other stars are also looking for companies to pay them in exchange for plugging their products at Coachella this year, according to the New York Daily News. "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul is asking for $15,000 and 2 VIP passes; the actor also met his wife at the music festival a few years ago. Actress Kate Bosworth is demanding a cool $30,000. Jonas Brother Joe Jonas is seeking somewhere under $20,000, and British fashion blogger Louise Roe wants $5,000 and three tickets.
