Last week was indeed the return of Hiro Mashima's manga series, Fairy Tail as the show aired its first episode last April 5 with a new opening Masayume Chasing which is sang by the "Queen of K-Pop" BoA. But the new opening theme has some interesting things to look forward to in the new season of Fairy Tail.
The new season of Fairy Tail is the continuation of the Grand Wizard Games as the final event of the games' draws near but a deeper revelation is set a foot behind the scenes and involves flying fire breathing dragons. We've already saw in the first episode or long before in the Manga that Natsu and the others were led to a dragon's graveyard thanks to Gajeel who first saw the place and Wendy performing the "Milky Way" spell to talk to a spirit of a dragon named Zirconis. The dragon spirit explained what happened and the revelations surrounding the origin of Dragon Slayer magic.
The first episode was but of taste of things to come in later episodes. The new opening of the anime has shown us the possible and anticipating outcomes in the anime. Here are some below.
The identity of mysterious hooded person
Jellal Fernandez has connered the person who he believes to have the same magical powers as Zeref. Revealing himself to the person, she found out that the person is a woman and was shocked to learn of her identity. For those who read the manga you know who she is.
Hisui E. Fiore
Hisui E. Fiore makes her appearance in the new season. She is the daughter of the king of Fiore, Toma E. Fiore and also sponsors the Grand Wizard Games.What role would she play in the show, we'll just have to find out.
Natsu and company rescues Lucy and Yukino and faces the Garou Knights
Okay this would be a spoiler but you'll learned this in the next episode,and for those who read the manga earlier. Natsu Dragneel along with Mirajane Strauss, Wendy Marvell, Happy, Carla, and Panther Lily rescue Lucy Heartfilia and Yukino Aguria from the Fiore Royal Army. As they escape they face off the Garou Knights, The kingdoms shadow unit.
Team Fairy Tail in the finals of the Grand Wizard Games
Team Fairy Tail consist of Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster,Gajeel Redfox, Laxus Dreyar,and Juvia Lockser are ready to do battle on the final event of the Grand Wizard Games. It showcases some of the anticipated fights including Erza fighting Kagura Mikazuchi of Mermaid Heel and Minerva Orlando of Sabretooth in a three way fight, Laxus facing Sabretooth's Orga Nanagear and Gray and Juvia facing Lamia Scale's Lyon Vastia and Chelia Blendy.
The mysterious man and the chaotic future ruled by dragons.
We all saw in the trailer and the first episode of the new season that dragons have ruled Fiore or possible the whole world and everyone is destroyed with the exception of Natsu and Lucy. It also shows a mysterios man grinning, and we bet a smile like that means he's the "bad guy" in all of this. For those who read the manga you know who he is.
