It took So E Hyun and In Kyo Jin a decade to realize they were right for each other but almost no time after that to set a date for their wedding. TV Report broke the news this week that the actors were dating and barely a day later, it was announced that they would marry. A date had already been decided on.
So E Hyun, 30, and actor In Kyo Jin, 34, have known each other for more than a decade. They played a couple in the 008 SBS daily drama "Aeja's Older Sister Minja" and again in the 2012 JTBC drama "Happy Ending." They even filmed a wedding scene in one of their dramas.
But their drama wedding turned out to be a dramaland rehearsal for the real thing.
So E Hyun, who currently stars in "Three Days" with Park Yoochun, and In Kyo Jin, who will soon appear in "Tears of Heaven," plan to be married on Oct. 4.
According to the Hanguk Ilbo, the couple decided on the wedding date after discussing it with their parents. Her agency Key East Entertainment and his agency Madin Entertainment, have confirmed the news.
"In Kyo Jin and So E Hyun will be holding their wedding on October 4 at The Raum in Yeoksam-dong," said a Key East representative.
"The two met when they were represented by the same agency 12 years ago, and have since maintained a close relationship," said a Madin Entertainment representative. "Their trust for each other has also grown. Their parents have also become close, supporting their relationship."
In Kyo Jin proposed to So E Hyun at the beginning of March and that's when they seriously started dating. It was an easy decision for the couple to make. When So E Hyun finishes filming "Three Days" they will focus on their wedding preparations.
When they previously worked together, In Kyo Jin was dating actress Seo Woo. He broke up with his "If Tomorrow Comes" co-star in April 2013.
In Kyo Jin had roles in "Good Doctor," "I Need Romance," "Queen Seonduk." He will soon appear in the drama "Tears of Heaven."
So E Hyun previously appeared in the paranormal detective story "Who Are You?" with Ok Taecyeon and Kim Jae Wook. She also had a memorable role as the deceptive wife in "Cheomdamdong Alice" with co-stars Moon Geun Young and Park Shi Hoo."
