With InFamous: Second Son getting good reviews and selling 1 million copies in nine days, console gamers are rubbing in the face of PC gamers by claming "you can't do that on PC" but is that really the case?

InFamous: Second Son is the fastest-selling InFamous game to date, according to Sony Computer Entertainment.

In a press release, SCE Australia said global sales of InFamous: Second Son exceeded 1 million units within nine days of its March 21 western launch.

That makes it the fastest-selling InFamous title, outdoing both earlier releases on PS3.

While one million copies in nine days is a great feat, it is a bit on the small side when compared to fastest selling titles ever.

For the PC, the fastest selling game on the platform is Diablo III selling 6.3 copies in a week. But console gamers have one ace in the hole that is undoubtedly one that hits close to home for PC gamers.

GTA V sold a whopping 12 million copies in its first day alone and then it went from 12 million to 16.5 million in three days.

It should be noted that GTA V is not on PC as of the moment of writing.

Pokemon X and Y for the Nintendo 3DS sold 4 million copies in 2 days while the mobile game Angry Birds sold 50 million copies in 35 days making it the fastest selling mobile game of all time.

It should be noted that console games sell more than PC games counterpart according to research group LVT media.

What do you think about this PC vs Console debate? Is it pointless debating about the sales of games on the platform? Sound off in the comments below!
