Group Big Bang's member Seungri made a successful debut to dramas in the new SBS Saturday Sunday drama "Angel Eyes," which aired its first episode on April 4, 2014.
Seungri on the third episode of the new SBS Saturday Sunday drama "Angel Eyes," which aired on April 12, 2014, made his first appearance as a boy from Texas who uses a Choon Chung Do Korean dialect when he speaks. He played a character named Teddy, who is a little bit clumsy but adorable. In the drama, he works at the fire department with Yoon Soo Wan, played by Ku Hye Sun. Teddy speaks both in English and Korean. Because he was brought up by his grandmother who uses Choon Chung Do Korean dialect, he speaks Korean in dialect. In the interview from the press release of the drama which took place before the drama premiered, Seungri said on his character, "My character puts the energy into the drama. As a member of Big Bang, I personally expect to show the fans good sides of me. I am happy to be able to play this role with awesome senior actors and actresses." In related news, the new SBS Saturday Sunday drama "Angel Eyes" is a story of Ku Hye Sun, her first love Lee Snag Yoon, and their sad past of having to let their loved ones pass away.
