Elizabeth Banks stars in a new movie called "Walk In Shame," for which the official red band trailer has been released! Banks stars as Meghan Miles, an aspiring reporter, who goes out for a wild night out on the town. Miles is up for a promotion against Wendy Chang; unfortunately, Chang gets the job. Meghan's friend Rose (Gillian Jacobs from Community) makes her go out and party off her sadness. "We're taking you out. You're going to meet some young stupid hot guy and you're goign to take all your anger and your aggression out on his penis," Rose says. "No, I don't do that with penises," Meghan says weakly.
Meghan goes out and meets said young dumb hot guy, but decides to ditch him before it turns into a one night stand. She runs out on what she thought was a back door but it turns out she is stuck on a fire escape. Gordon (James Marsden) saves her and she ends up having what looks like an amazingly fun one night stand with him. During her adult sleepover at Gordon's, there are scenes of him wearing her dress and Meghan playing with knives near Gordon's body. The next morning, after getting a phone call for another job opportunity, Meghan realizes she is left stranded in downtown Los Angeles without a car, phone, ID or money. But it's not home she has to get to, it's a very important job interview, and she's got 8 hours to get there. This is of course a premise for Banks to get into all kinds of hijinks and the result of which is looks pretty amusing. Along the way, she gets confused for a hooker, a massage therapist, and gets chased by cops.
Walk of Shame is written and directed by Steven Brill, and costars Ethan Suplee, Sarah Wright, Oliver Hudson, and Gillian Jacobs. "Walk Of Shame" hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
Banks' has several other upcoming projects this year and next, including roles in Little Accidents (2014), Every Secret Thing (2014), The Big Shoe (2014) and the highly anticipated Pitch Perfect 2 (2015).
