TellTale Games have confirmed the release date of The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 1 and 2 for the PS Vita. The game will be available for purchase next Tuesday on the PSN Store. Europe will get it a day later on Wednesday.
Since only two episodes are available now, out of the 5 total episodes for season 2, you can either grab both of them for $4.99 each, or grab the season pass and save 20% over grabbing each of the episodes individually. If you purchase the season pass, you will be able to download any of the future episode of season 2 as they are released for the PS Vita.
The Walking Dead season 2 will see the return of Clementine from season 1. It focuses on her story and the struggle that she has to go through. Season 2 has been released on majority of the platforms including PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Vita release was announced at the same time and has now been given an official release date. You can read more about The Walking Dead season 2 from our coverage of the Episode 1 and Episode 2.
Your choices made in Season 1 and the "400 Days" DLC will affect the decisions in Season 2. Although "400 Days" is not a direct part of the story thread joining Seasons 1 and 2, the player's actions in "400 Days" will affect some elements of Season 2. If you haven't played "400 Days", the elements that would have been affected will be seamlessly pre-determined by the game.
The first episode was released on December 17th for PC/Mac via Steam and on PlayStation Network. It was released for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network Europe and iOS on December 18th.
