Sales are high, ratings are high, not only fans but also developers are trying to get their hands on this highly touted and hottest game in the market, Titanfall. As such, sources say a PS4 release is imminent.

According to motoringcrunch.com, EA have got the rights for a sequel to the Respawn Entertainment shooter, Titanfall. This came from what was called a reliable source.

The outcome of Titanfall 2 was based on how well the first did, according to the source. While official sales of the game haven't yet been released, Titanfall does seem to have sold well and in the UK sales of the Xbox One have been boosted.

A representative for EA said that the company doesn't commit to rumours or speculation and at the moment they were focusing on supporting fans around the world that were enjoying playing Titanfall.

Titanfall is on the Xbox One and the PC; while it isn't know what the terms of Titanfall 2 will be. This means it is not clear yet if Titanfall 2 will make its way onto the PlayStation and if fans on Nintendo will get the game.

Also, Microsoft saw a lot of potential in Titanfall and they made a deal to have it as an exclusive, but it seems that Respawn could be having second thoughts after the recent Sony announcement.

Sony is said to be negotiating to get Titanfall onto the PS4. Sony could be late coming in but when the deal expires with Microsoft it could happen. Sony said that if it came to the PlayStation they would triple the sales that Microsoft had made.

The CFO for EA, Blake Jorgenson said that he was sure than sequels would be made for Titanfall and they would arrive on the PlayStation and Nintendo platforms.

Titanfall made its way out on 11 March on the PC and Xbox One. The version for the Xbox 360 saw a delay to 8 April.
