Playstation gamers won't feel left out for long as the Minecraft PS4 PS3 PS Vita release date has been been confirmed!
Minecraft is expected to release on PlayStation 4 and Vita in the second or third quarter while the PS3 disc release date is coming this May
The date comes via Mojang's Owen Hill, commenting on the PlayStation Blog
"We're aiming for Q2/Q3," he wrote.
Mojang and Sony aren't yet able to confirm whether there'll be cross-buy between the PS3, PS4 and Vita versions.
"We'll have more news on cross-buy/upgrade options soon! I understand that the wait is frustrating, but we don't want to make false promises," Hill wrote.
Of course PC gamers are the ones enjoying the "best" version of Minecraft because of the mods available to them, it seems that Mojang is looking into putting some of the PC mods into the console versions of the game!
Cyberland PC reported that it was rumored that some of the PC mods are going to be included in the game as an official feature. If the mod can't be ported into the game, Mojang would make something similar and put it in the game.
