Final Fantasy XIV owners, we have some good news and some bad news to tell. The good news is that Patch 2.25 is now available and patch 2.28 has a confirmed release date. The bad news is, the Zodiax weapon quest won't be available for patch 2.25 update.
According to the game's producer Naoki Yashida, The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn patch 2.25 is available on April 24 for both the PC and PlayStation 3 and 4. However, the Zodiac weapon quest won't be included in the 2.25 update of the game.
a) Many Players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon.
b) We would like to incorporate feedback regarding the difficulty of the Zodiac weapon quest.
c) We are working on increase the number of locations where materials for the next upgrade can be obtained.
The letter also suggested that the Zodiac weapon quest will be included in the 2.28 update of the game which is set to release on May this year.
The 2.25 update will have some new features such as improvements to the Wolves' Den PvP system and new materia system.
