Is the honeymoon over? It looks like the PS4 vs Xbox One battle is heating up once again as the PS4 sales are dropping and the Xbox One sales are rising!

DualShockers reported the numbers from the weekly Media Create sales data, indicating that the PlayStation 4's early sales momentum in Japan has died down:

Vita - 25,017

3DS LL - 22,947

PS4 - 13,401

PS3 - 10,871

3DS - 9,091

Wii U -7,962

PSP - 2,892

Vita TV - 1,371

Xbox 360 - 276

While the Xbox One is nowhere to be seen in this list it has been reported by VG24/7 that the Xbox One is slowly chasing the number of units sold of the PS4 in Europe.

However it should be noted that the PS4 has sold 7 million units all over the world compared to the 3 million of the Xbox One.

The gap between the two is expected to widen or shorten depending on the sales of Titanfall and InFamous: Second Son.

As of now, the InFamous: Second Son has sold more copies compared to Titanfall
