They had an altercation and while they were arguing, the bomb went off and Kim Do Jin died. However, the president saved his life. When he was in the hospital receiving treatment, the president told Han Tae Kyung, "The guardians made me come to my senses. I will live diligently wherever I am for those people. This is the least I could do for them. As you protected me, fight for your faiths. I will fight from where I stand too."
