Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie announced their divorce in January but has since been seen on numerous outings together, which caused people to question whether or not a reconciliation was in the works.
Well, the actress has opened up about her relationship with Comrie during an interview with Giuliana Rancic at the first annual iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles today.
"We're constantly seen together and people are like, 'What are they doing? Are they back together? Are they not?' We're really good friends and we have so much respect for each other and obviously Luca is our No. 1 priority," she began to tell E! News.
"I think we got to a point where we were like, we really need to honor happiness and whatever that is and however we need to sort that out or work that out, we're doing that. We love each other so much and we love spending time together. So when you see us out it's not just for Luca, it's because we make plans and we hang out and we don't know what our future looks like right now but we're both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy."
The actress has made headlines lately after being spotted on numerous outings with ex Mike Comrie-like attending Coachella over the weekend with some pals-sparking speculation as to whether or not the former couple are rekindling their romance.
Duff also posted something on Twitter that may be in reference to what's going on with Comrie.
Hilary tweeted a photo of the words, "Appreciate the human capacity for love, empathy, power, passion, forgiveness, grace, family and friendship. There are so many different feelings we can imagine, experience and appreciate."
"They are still separated, but are friends," a source said after Duff and Comrie were seen engaging in innocent PDA during a recent shopping trip in Beverly Hills.
When the duo announced their separation in January, they released a joint statement saying, "Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation. They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."
