Hamatora returns as season 2 release date of the anime show confirmed on July and the show's tagline hints that Nice and the others won't have their powers and Art will be the new villain. Could they have lost their minimum hold powers? What would be the cause of it and does Art have anything to do with it?
In the official website of Hamatora announced last Thursday that season 2 now dubbed Re: _Hamatora (Reply Hamatora) will return on July this year on TV Tokyo and other Japanese network stations. The first Hamatora anime was directed by Seiji Kishi and now he returns to direct the show once again this time the management ofanime studio Lerche along the original cast and staff of the show.
An official image for Re:_Hamatora has been revealed in several websites featuring the main characters Nice, Murasaki, Hajime, and Art. A curious thought on the image is that the show's tagline which read "We don't need Minimum" might indicate that the characters from the show will somehow lose their minimum hold powers or rather won't use their powers in public because of the growing hostility between humans and minimum holders, if you've watched the anime, you would know what we mean. There also speculations that Art would be the new villain in Season 2. if we remember the ending of season 1, Art shot and killed Moral after his fight with Nice as the dust have been settled, Art pints a gun at the back of Nice's head and fires as the screen went black with the words "to be continued" appears.
Hamatora is a Japanese mixed-media project which began in the manga series by Yukino Kitajima along with Yuki Kodama as the character designer, and Yu Wazu handling the designs to the illustration. The story centers on the Minimum Holders, beings born with superpowers, and they are being trained in an early age at the Facultas Academy, in older to develop their skills and powers and grant them high positions in any job after their graduation. Nice, a former student and top-one ranked student left Facultas Academy, and created a detective agency called Hamatora. Along with his friends, Hamatora specializes in solving any type of case whether it would be detective work or protection.
The Hamatora anime aired on January of this year, and ended on March 25 with the last episode closing with the words "to be continued" that led to a possible season 2 comeback.
