Singer and actor Rain is getting inundated with the TV drama scripts, especially from KBS. On May 2, 2014, a staff member involved in filming TV dramas said in an interview, "Rain has been discussed as the main male character for the KBS 2 TV drama The Discovery of Love, in which actress Jung Yoo Mi has already been confirmed as the main female character." The same staff person added, "Currently, Rain has gotten a lot of drama offers, and is considering and weighing his different options."

Rain's agency confirmed this fact. A person from his agency said, "Rain has been offered a role to play in a number of dramas, and is doing his best in selecting what drama to star in." Previously, Rain has been rumored to be casted for the new drama "Indian Summer," which is to be directed by producer Lee Hyun Min, whom Rain filmed the drama "Let's go to school Sang Doo" together. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Producer Lee Hyung Min offered Rain to film "Indian Summer" together this fall, and many are wondering whether this would actually take place. If Rain does decide to film "Indian Summer," this would be his first drama since the KBS 2 T V drama "Runner's Plan B" that he filmed four years ago.
