Actor Kim Soo Hyun gave his contributions for the Dan Won high school, asking the school to use the money to treat the students who came alive. According to Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Kim Soo Hyun delivered a contribution of three hundred thousand dollars to Dan Won high school in Ahn San, Kyung Ki Do. Kim Soo Hyun is currently working in China, and it has been heard that Kim Soo Hyun has felt emotional pains overseas when he heard the news of the ferry Sewol. Kim Soo Hyun had left Korea right before the incident happened. Overseas, Kim Soo Hyun contemplated what would be of help for those involved and affected by the ferry Sewol incident. Kim Soo Hyun said on delivering the donations to the Dan Won high school, "I hope the contribution will be used to support the students and the teachers who came alive, who were rescued but must be so shocked, in addition to commemorating the students who died in this tragic event." Kim Soo Hyun added, "The students who died with sinking of ferry Sewol is unfortunate too, but I wanted to help out the students and teachers who survived from the sinking, and contribute to healing their emotional and physical wounds. I hope the survivors of the incident in Dan Won high school will continue on with their ordinary lives as soon as they can. Previously, Kim Soo Hyun gave two hundred thousand dollars for the children and young adults in China.
