"New Girl" Season 3 finale titled "Cruise" will wrap up on Tuesday May 6 at 9 pm with the gang going on a cruise together and Winston attempting to mend Jess and Nick's relationship. The finale episode follows all the roommates when they go on a cruise together. When the cruise Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) booked together before they broke up comes up they find a logical solution: Cram all their friends into the small room together so they don't have to go alone. Of course, things will still be weird with the whole gang around. Winston (Lamorne Morris) is on a mission to help mend Jess and Nick's fractured relationship. Schmidt (Max Greenfield) hasn't given up on Cece (Hannah Simone) and attempts to win her back. Meanwhile, Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) will come face to face with his fear of boating. Kerri Kenney-Silver ("Reno 911") as Captain Jan Nortis and Oscar Nunez ("The Office") as Cruise Director Doug will guest-star in the episode. The New Girl Season finale "Cruise"episode will air on Tuesday, May 6 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on Fox.
In a clip on E!Online, Zooey Deschanel says about the finale, "Last year, the finale was Nick and Jess getting together. I think there are probably more possibilities in terms of where next season will begin." See a sneak peak of the episode HERE.
In other New Girl" news, Coach will be around more regularly in the next season of the show. Damon Wayans Jr. will officially return as a series regular when the Fox comedy returns for a fourth season. Wayans had been a recurring guest star since he returned to the series this last November, after appearing in the New Girl pilot. Wayans was replaced by Lamorne Morris' character Winston when Wayans' series Happy Endings (now cancelled) was then renewed for another season. New Girl was renewed in March, along with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Mindy Project.
