Evolve Release Date: If there is one cross-platform game that gamers should look out for it is Evolve. There is a growing anticipation for the game and if a website is to be believed, Evolve will be released later this year.

The Australian-registered website posted Evolve on its pre-order page with the release date marked at 5 September 2014. While the leak might be for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC version are expected to share the same date.

On the other hand, the cited release date might just be a placeholder and awaiting a confirmation by the game developer.

What we know so far are the box art and trailer for the game is out.

The official box art for Evolve was released last Jan 14. 2014. The image features an iconic monster footprint intermingled with hunters' boot prints and raises the frightening question: Who is hunting who?

According to some fans who have seen the trailer, the game looks exactly like Left 4 Dead only with some high powered guns and bigger monsters.

One thing is for sure and it is that Evolve is currently in its final stages of development by the same team that brought us the Left 4 Dead series. All that is left to do is wait for future announcements, or simply hope for the 5 September date to be true.
