willow smith moises arias:Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are anything but typical but you would think that the shocking pic of 13-year-old Willow lounging in bed with the 20-year-old actor will upset them somehow. According to a HollywoodLife.com source, the parents are not bothered at all!
Everyone knew that Will and Jada were progressive - they told the world in 2010 that they didn't believe in giving their kids any rules. But we're still stunned that they're allowing Willow to get so close to a grown man.
"Moises is Jaden [Smith]‘s best friend and that has been true for a few years," our source reveals. "He has been friends with the family forever as well and this in no way was meant to look or feel sexual."
"Everyone close to the situation is saying that this could have happened in a pool and Moises Arias could have his shirt off and nobody would freak out," the source adds. "People are just taking a sick turn on something that was meant to be extremely innocent."
We still think it's surprising that Will and Jada aren't the least bit phased by the closeness between Willow Smith Moises Arias, but our source confirms that this is a non-issue for the stars.
"They are under the impression that if they make it a big deal and have a statement then it's exactly what people are thinking," our source says. "They don't want to feed into the controversy at all because it's not a controversy to them."
I guess, Will and Jada think it's okay for a 13-year-old girl to hang in a bed with a 20-year-old guy!
Actor-musician Arias once starred opposite Miley Cyrus as Rico on Hannah Montana, and is pals with Willow and her brother Jaden-plus Jaden's on-and-off girlfriend Kendall Jenner and her sister, Kylie. Indeed, his Tumblr page is chock-full of snaps documenting his friendship with the Jenners and the Smiths, and he appeared to have hung out with the group during Coachella last month in Indio, Calif.
Smith, meanwhile, has proven herself precocious professionally speaking-although she revealed last year that she turned down the title role in the remake of Annie, with Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis taking over.
Her famous father Will recounted the surprising decision. "She looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12,'" he explained. "I'm really learning through Willow the necessity that we have to snap ourselves back and refocus on the emotional needs of the people that we love," he said last year.
