Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have opened their clothing line The Row's first flagship store in L.A. according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The 8440 Melrose Place address will be home of the designers' high-end luxury label, 'The Row' which they co-founded in 2006. Though the designing duo have chosen Los Angeles as the brand's flagship, as it was the hair salon that they used to frequent when they were kids.
"We had been coming here since we were, like, 10-years-old," Ashley told WWD of the former Sally Hershberger and John Frieda space. "We are from here and The Row started here, so it was all very appropriate." The space has a swimming pool in its courtyard and the front of the store is referred to as the library.
Mary-Kate and the girls' younger sister Godzilla actress Elizabeth Olsen both got engaged recently. Elizabeth responded to rumors the sisters were planning a joint wedding.
Elizabeth, 25, got engaged to actor Boyd Holbrook earlier this year in March, after dating for nearly two years.
Rumors recently surfaced that Elizabeth was planning a double wedding with her 27-year-old sister, Mary Kate, who is set to wed Olivier Sarkozy. The 44-year-old French banker is the half-brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, former President of France. Mary Kate Olsen has been seen wearing the same exact ring on her left finger, but the couple has yet to confirm they are planning to tie the knot.
At the Godzilla junket, Elizabeth said to E!'s Alicia Quarles, "Someone asked me...if my sister and I are having a double wedding and I said, 'No.' And they're like, 'Planning! Wedding plans!'And I'm like, 'I just said 'no' to a question.' But I guess that means a lot more is happening."
Olsen says rumors like this have taught her to be more careful during interviews. The Godzilla actress said, "It's weird. These are the times when I'm like, 'I should watch what I say.'"
