Despite the buzz generated by Michael Jackson's new sexual molestation charge, such charge will be dropped because the alleged victim flip-flopped on his earlier claim that the King of Pop never touched him.

The victim in the Michael Jackson's new sexual molestation claim is identified as James Safechuck who, The Daily Beast reported, appeared with the "Black and White" singer in his Pepsi ad in 1987 and both struck a friendship lasting several years.

But Attorney Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the Jackson estate, told TMZ that James Safechuck's new claim is highly suspicious because has already denied several times that he was touched inappropriately by Michael Jackson.

Then suddenly, the victim is now "demanding money from Michael's Estate" by claiming that he now recalls the events differently. He said that King of Pop is no longer alive to defend himself so the timing of the of the Michael Jackson's new sexual molestation claim is dubious.

"We believe these false and scurrilous allegations will not prevail."

According to the Daily Beast, James Safechuck was earlier named in the lawsuit against Michael Jackson for supposedly molesting children in his Neverland Ranch. But in interviews with the police, he always maintained that nothing occurred between them.

Now, the alleged victim is filing a civil suit because he claimed that Michael Jackson "groomed" then molested him from the time he was 10 years old.

This wasn't the first Michael Jackson new molestation charge after the pop superstar's first child molestation acquittal because in May 2013, Wade Robson also filed a civil suit claiming that he was forced into doing sexual acts with the "Beat It" singer.

Both Wade Robson and James Safechuck are being represented by Gradstein & Marzano, a Los Angeles law firm, the Daily Beast added. A source told the website that James Safechuck was inspired by Robson into filing the case.
