Cortana Windows Phone 8.1 has been tipped off for release by June. The Cortana service will be available on all Windows Phone 8 devices as a virtual assistant. There won't be a need for you to hire a personal secretary once you have Cortana on board.

Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.1 is geared for release on June 24. However, reports are not clear about carriers pushing updates on the same day.

Speaking of the Windows Phone 8.1, the software giant said, ""Microsoft will make updates available for the Operating System, including security updates, for a minimum of 36 months after the lifecycle start date," adding, "These updates will be incremental, with each update built on the update that preceded it."That's about six weeks before Cortana hits the store.

When Cortana was introduced in April, it was said to sound more simple than Siri, a similar digital assistant for Apple.

The Windows Phone 8.1 software update will piggy back Cortland on the same official release. Cormorants searches will be based on Bing, the search engine used by Microsoft.

Microsoft said in a statement,"These updates will be incremental, with each update built on the update that preceded it. Customers need to install each update in order to remain supported. The distribution of these incremental updates may be controlled by the mobile operator or the phone manufacturer from which you purchased your phone, and installation will require that your phone have any prior updates. Update availability will also vary by country, region, and hardware capabilities."

According to reports online, Cortland for Windows Phone enhances productivity for personal and small businesses. Initially, Cortland launched as part of Windows Phone 8.1, Redmond St.'s latest update for the mobile operating system. Unveiled on April 14, it is expected to be released for all devices on Windows Phone 8 in just a few months.

business users can benefit profusely from using Cortland. It is a lot like Apple's touted virtual assistant, Siri and Google Now for Android. Cortland can help answer questions. It can push notifications to you.

You can acquire information galore from Cortland, you are likely to need or you can obtain any other help apart from this very chic digital assistant.

Cortland is different from other similar services. Since Cortland is linked to Windows phone 8, it offers native integration with Microsoft's note-taking software, OneNote and with Skype.

ere are a few ways to access Cortland. To perform a search - either by typing or by
