Michael Fassbender's rumored girlfriend Naomi Campbell shone earlier this week at the Met Ball. The 'X-Men' actor can be seen next with Marion Cotillard in the upcoming Justin Kurzel-directed movie adaptation of the Shakespeare play Macbeth!
Naomi Campbell was in attendance at the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art earlier this week. The 43-year-old supermodel dazzled in a sweeping ivory gown from Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, according to the Daily Mail. Campbell was joined by close friend Tisci.
Vogue Editor Anna Wintour co-hosted the star-studded party with Sarah Jessica Parker and Bradley Cooper. Tickets for the gala cost $25,000 each, $10,000 more than last year's price. The theme is White Tie And Decorations, an ode to Anglo-American designer Charles James.
Michael Fassbender will be playing Macbeth in the upcoming "Macbeth" movie. The film has an ensemble cast which includes Elizabeth Debicki as Lady Macduff, Paddy Considine as Banquo, and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth.
Marion Cotillard recently spoke with Variety about playing Lady Macbeth. The "Inception" actress said, "It's the first time I've played a character with no light, total darkness. And when she loses control ... I'm affected by the character I live with when I'm shooting, so I lost control of everything, like her, and it was really hard to handle."
Cotillard also described her character Lady Macbeth to The Independent, saying it was her dream role. "The depth of humanity in her - but it's all driven away by fear and despair. How you do things to have a better life - but when they are against humanity, you will fail."
Cotillard also praised Fassbender, and said she was impressed by his work as Macbeth. "I saw a lot of movies [Fassbender] was in, and I have the feeling he's reached another level here. When you start a scene and you don't really know where you're going to go, that's a roller-coaster. Many times I was surprised by what he does in this movie, and this is priceless."
Production has wrapped on "Macbeth," but no release date yet.
