The Marquez versus Alvarado fights is all set and Juan Manuel Marquuez is unmoved by the statements made Mike Alvarado. In fact, "El Dinamita" is all set to avenge his previous loss.

Juan Manuel Marquez spoke to Marcos Villegas of Fight Hub TV, and the veteran boxer seemed unfazed about Mike Alvarado's comments about him being a "grandpa lion".

"I don't like talking outside the ring," Marquez said with a smile on his face in reference to the upcoming Marquez versus Alvarado fight. "Everybody knows I don't like talking outside the ring. I do my job on the ring, and next Saturday, everybody will see a great fight, will see a great boxer on the ring."

"I don't care," Marquez said, ending his answer.

Juan Manuel Marquez has been involved with professional boxing since 1993. He is fully aware of all the pre-fight talk that has been an unspoken tradition among competitors, and these verbal festivities leading to the Marquez versus Alvarado bout is no different.

But as a fighter himself, "El Dinamita" has always been a respectable gentleman. He has always given credit where credit is due.

For this upcoming bout, he is expecting a war for every round, given "Mile High's" fighting style and both fighter's hunger to redeem themselves from their previous losses.

"This is a motivation for him, a motivation for me," Marquez continued. "He lost to Provodnikov by knockout, I lost a close decision to Bradley. He wants to win, I want to win. This is a war."

"El Dinamita" has always been a methodical fighter who never rushes in carelessly with his shots. For the upcoming Marquez versus Alvarado fight, he is not planning any drastic changes to his game plan considering Mike Alvarado's size advantage.

"I need to use my experience," he said. "I need to work very hard on the ring because he has long arms. I need to move my body; I need to use my speed. I need to use all my experience."
