"24: Live Another Day" spoilers are up and it seems Jack Bauer will have a happy ending this season, or at least go off into the sunset with all limbs intact. And there's more good news for the series fans because there's a big possibility of bringing back the ex-CIA agent after this 12-episode arc.

Fans of the show are eager to know what happens to Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), especially after escaping death once too often, and whether or not his luck will finally run out this season, but showrunner Robert Cochran dished out some "24: Live Another Day" spoilers.

"We're not going to kill him, I can guarantee you that," he told TV Guide.

Meanwhile, Mary Lynn Rajskub, who plays Jack Bauer's ally Chloe, also offered some "24: Live Another Day" spoilers of her own, particularly on the show's extension when this season concludes.

"When [the idea] was first delivered...it was delivered as this is wrapping up the franchise but when the rewrites came back... it must have felt fresh enough [because] everyone was really happy. I would be really surprised if they didn't do more after this instalment," she said.

Meanwhile, filming for "24: Live Another Day" resumed in London on Tuesday after the successful premiere last week,MailOnline reported and the scenes between Jack Bauer and CIA agent Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt) appeared to be very intense.

Steve Navarro has been trying to catch Jack Bauer, whom the government thinks has gone rogue. The two appeared to be shooting it out, as the both hid for cover, but it's really not clear.

"24: Live Another Day" co-producer Manny Coto earlier said that cutting down the season to 12 episodes means they don't have to think about filler episodes and just go back to telling a story.

The showrunner admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that it was one of their problems in the previous seasons because there was always that one episode "that would usually crop up around 17 or 16 where we had to kind of vamp for a while until we figured out what the rest of the season was going to be."
